Educated in China, Xiaoqing “Yana” Yang has practiced Chinese medicine in China, Europe and North America. Xiaoqing Yang graduated 6th highest in a class of 200 from the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China in 1990 (Nanjing University of TCM is one of only five universities in China that are in collaboration with the World Health Organization.)
Since then, she has worked at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of TCM in Nanjing and afterwards traveled to Europe and Moscow where she worked 5½ years at Polyclinic of Traditional Medicine “INTERMED” Inc. as Doctor in Charge of TCM. Here she treated thousands of patients (adults and children) with various illness and continues to treat returning patients over the years.

Yana has been in private practice for 17 years in Honolulu and has participated with Dr. Eugene M.C. Lee, M.D. (Internal Medicine/Pediatrics) and Dr. Bernard M. Portner, M.D. (retired). Currently she participates with Dr Scott Miscovich, M.D. at Premiere Medical Group where she complements their Western medical practices with her expertise in Eastern medicine. Ms. Yang has also established herself as a clinically experienced and academically outstanding teacher of TCM in Honolulu.
